Extravagance at Villa Marco Polo Inn and Da Vinci Center, Victoria, BC Wedding

Sunday 5 February 2017

Lush whites, lush details, an outstanding gown, a beautiful couple, and the right combination of EVERYTHING leaves this wedding nothing short of amazing.  Emma McCormick - Creative Planning and Production referred us to Lesley and Mike to produce a luxurious wedding last August and I was thrilled to climb on board.   So much beauty to talk about where do I begin?

Let's begin at Villa Marco Polo Inn, one of my absolute favourite wedding venues here on Vancouver Island.  The venue speaks intimate touched with a kiss that reminds me of Italy.  Today was a day everyone bathed in 'tuscan sun'.  The ceremony chivari chairs piled around the beautiful stone fountain waiting for the bride to come on down.

Ah!  One of my most favourite things to create is always flower crowns for the cutest flower girls.  I like to call them my little flower fairies.  Like HOW adorable!

What a grand bridal party all decked out in perfectly suited suits and glitter, sequin gowns to steal any womans heart.

Perfection!

THAT GOWN!!! Ah, just incredible detailing.

That Bride!  What a stunner.

As the day went on, we moved to The Da Vinci Centre.  A blank canvas allowing for so many opportunities to be creative and that's exactly what we did.  Emma McCormick's LOVE letters proved to be just one more perfectly suited touch for L & M.  We dripped the letters in champagne hues spray roses to add just one more level of custom awesomeness!

Romance at it's finest.

The Da Vinci Centre was taken over with beautiful draping from Decorate Victoria.  Crystal candelabras and flowerful garlands fancied up the place in all the right areas.

I think these are one of the most visually stunning high tops I have created to date.  The texture and variety of blooms included made for such romance.  Spray roses, queen annes lace, lisianthus, ranunculus, phlox, dahlia, sabiosa and a touch of babies breathe all combined together, ugh such beauty!

Salal garlands were created using local salad here in Metchosin.  Spray roses and orchids did their jobs in making the displays really pop and candle light galore created the ambience set for a perfect evening.

KGoodphoto blew me away with such moving and inspired photography.  I wish nothing but the absolute best for these two love birds. XO
