A Summertime Backyard Wedding on Beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia

Saturday 28 February 2015

What's better then celebrating your destination wedding on Vancouver Island? Jenn and Jon decided to tie the knot at Jenn's parent's property which was absolute incredible.  Jenn's parents have a fabulous garden and it was just perfection!

Jenn requested creamy whites and yellows for her florals accented by charcoal ribbons.  We used stunning garden roses, freesia, craspedia, standard roses, dahlia and dusty miller to create a compact hand tied bridal bouquet.

Just stunning Jenn!

We set the ceremony in a spiral design and cascaded the aisleway with rose petals.  Apparently, the story of the day was this sweet little flower girl whom didn't want to step on any petals.  She was so concerned with her steps she took a long time to make it up that aisleway and didn't throw 1 petal from her own basket, too cute!!!

Deck railings were cascaded with lush foliage.  Garlands are so beautiful!

Arrangements filled the house for the reception area!

What a fabulous couple.  What a fabulous wedding to be apart of.  I won't forget the ragging temp of over 30 degrees!  Here's to summertime weddings!
