As per usual, I am super behind in the blogging department. Oodles of images sitting in files on the computer, but I am trying :) I was reminded of this stunning wedding we participated in at Bodega Ridge on Galiano Island, BC. One of my favourite Gulf Island wedding venues! Bodega offers tranquility, a beautiful rustic setting with an outstanding ocean view for your ceremony, and the sweetest of staff members making our job so much easier! Love Bodega!
This beautiful spring wedding was the kick start to our 2018 wedding season, working alongside Eco Chic Events and Trend Decor and Jarusha Brown Weddings.
To create this outstanding bouquet, we foraged local items such as pussy willow, rose hips and unique foliage located on Gailano Island. Using early spring blooms such as ranunculus, snap dragons, silver brunia, blue tweedia, and quicksand roses completed the look. We loved creating this romantic, lush bouquet.
How cute is this! Puppy's and bows, I approve! Pictured here is Bodega's ceremony site, just look at that view! We adorned Bodega's rustic arch with a simple display of greens and flowers mimicking the bridal bouquet palette.
Following the ceremony, the intimate wedding moved into the main building on site, using a 'family style' dinner setting, we cascaded centrepieces mixed with candle light to create just a touch more romance and added fresh blooms to the stunning wedding cake.
