To all the women, couples that go bold, that go wild and let the colours unfold .... HELL YES! Although we love producing a timeless palette using blush, whites and cremes, being able to work with bolds make our hearts sing. And goodness me, my heart definitely sang on this one. The textures, the combos and the unique west coast vibe made this wedding shine in all its glory. Teaming up with Blue Lily Event Planning to literally pull it all together was a dream! Birds Eye Cove Farm provided the most stunning of country side venues this island has to offer. Kim Jay Photography, once again blew me off my feet with all these stunning flower candy photos.
This wedding was definitely one to remember with a selection of unique flowers including chocolate lace, sweet Williams, cosmos, sacbiosa, garden roses, dahlias and so so much more. Many of the items featured here, grown direct on Vancouver Island!
The shots of burgandys paired with rust orange, blues, pinks and just the right amount of greenery came together to create a palette not often thought of but boy do they ever pop from those stunning blue maids gowns! Perfection!
This wedding had an eclectic feel to it! Using modern furniture pieces from Bash Specialty to create a cozy lounge, to the west coast vibe in the use of foliage, and of course a rustic vibe within the Birds Eye Cove Barn. When you do it right, it's magic.
