Parkside Hotel - Intimate Wedding Part 2 of 2 - Ceremony and Reception Details

Tuesday, 24 November 2015

Ah, finally, time to blog up Part 2 of 2! This wedding was so intimate and so classic, romantic, and had all the right details!  Courtney Clarke photography took so many beautiful shots, I decided to separated the post into two.... CLICK here to see Laura's stunning bridal bouquet.

The ceremony took place on Parkside Hotel's rooftop location which was just recently renovated!  The Parkside is one of my favorite indoor wedding locations offering such unique spaces to be married and celebrate.  The rooftop offers gorgeous views of downtown Victoria, BC and boasts skyline photography opportunities.

The couple wanted to focus on soft pinks, champagnes and ivory shades.  We used classic flowers to compliment the vision.  Hydrangea, garden roses, traditional american roses, spray roses were the focal flowers and truly enhanced the romantic vibes throughout the day.

Inside the reception (Parkside Hotel - City Club Lounge) we focued on creating intimate locations to converse.  Coffee tables were adorned with centerpieces using our gold mercury rental collection.  Candles were a very important detail to add to the ambiance later in the evening.

Greeting the guests, giving thanks and honouring a loved one passed.  Whats better then cascades of fresh rose petals, vintage bud vases and gold details!!

Inside the City Club Lounge at Parkside Hotel, it was ALL about creating that intimate and romantic evening, almost magical.  We didnt forget about jazzing up the room on numerous levels and used the ledges in between all the windows to place vaseware, pillar candles, and flowers of coarse to add depth.  Candles were really a key element to nail an intimate reception.

You can never have enough candles!

Of course!  Golden Dinosaurs, well, why not!  So cute!

Not only do you get an amazing inside reception, but you get to utilize the outdoor space too, each just happens to feature a sweet fireplace.  And again, we really wanted to encourage guests to sit and relax throughout the evening.  We used an abondance of rose petals mixed with candlelight to add that little something extra!!

Happy Couple enjoying the evening! XO - amazing clients to work with.  Laura, if your reading this post, thank you so so much for allowing our team to have alot of creative freedom!  I wish you both so much love and the best of futures (and that little baby bump too!)

Glad you love birds truly enjoyed everything!
