Ah! Dahlia season. This August wedding held at the beautiful Prestige Hotel located in Sooke, BC was bright and beautiful with fantastic florals. Our bride's bouquet was chalked full of locally grown dahlia, imported cymbidium orchids, spray roses, traditional roses, mini green hydrangea and hot pink carnations.
Looking back at last years season, all the sunny summer days, makes me itch to get back right into the swing of things. Dreaming of long summer romantic days.
The maids bouquets were smaller versions of the bridal bouquet in coordinating colours.
I love this shot from Deanna McCollum Photography. We had just ordered in our new box stickers and this was one of the first images we received back with them. I still love them!
The ceremony was set with pillar and urns stands, carrying a beautiful display of flowers of course in coordinating colours.
The aisleway carried cute pew markers consisting of spray roses, carnations and just a sprig of greenery and ivory trailing ribbon.
The boutonnieres added just the right amount of colour to the unique white suits the men wore. Sedum and greenery were pulled from the cutting garden along with imported mini pink cymbidiums and spray roses.
Rose Petals for the precious flower girl. These girls always sweep me off my feet. Just too sweet!
The reception area was all about bling, bold colour choices and of course candle light. All in all, it was a fabulous wedding to be apart of.
