Oak Bay Beach Hotel Wedding, Victoria, BC

Saturday, 14 February 2015

A classic colour palette, a great couple and a fantastically appointed hotel = one amazing wedding!  I had the privilege with working Kayla and your fiance whom I didn't get to actually meet face to face until the day of the wedding.  We coordinated the wedding and all the details via emails (thank goodness for pinterest and all the fabulous sites we can visit to help with the creative process).

The David Foster Foundation Theatre at the hotel is traditionally styled with gold accents found throughout the chairs, wallpaper and curtains.  We decided to pick up those details using our gold mercury vase rentals and candle holders which made the room appear just that much more elegant.  Kayla's centerpieces consisted of spray roses, dahlia, hydrangea, and garden roses.  She wanted a clean, timeless and compact design style.

Yummm! Wedding cake (created by pastry chef at Oak Bay Beach Hotel) .... I think I could stare at this image all evening long (I could go for a slice!)

We kept the theme consistant in Kayla's bridal bouquet but added in stunning phalaenopsis orchids! Orchids always add that touch of luxury and sophistication.

Needless to say, it's always going to be a stunning wedding view such an incredible venue.  The ocean views, the stunning details inside.... well everything!  What a blast, what a beautiful day and I wish these two crazy love birds so much AWESOMENESS in the future.  What a privilege.
