The sun was shining, the bride was glowing and it was a spectacular outdoor, beach front wedding with Oak Bay Beach Hotel. We communicated with the bride from afar (Hong Kong) to discover her wedding event styling and floral design. She was a dream to work with.
To start, we created a stunning floral head piece to accent her stunning dress. We used roses, curly willow and cymbidium orchids to create the piece.
Mika's bridal bouquet was a neutral palette using gardenias, orchids, roses, hydrangea and calla's. She wanted to create a rustic element to it, so we looped branches into the design.
Moving into the ceremony, the aisle markers were large cylinder vases with cascading aramanthus and babies breath, the aisle was flowing with white rose petals and lots of love.
The reception, oh the reception. It was placed outdoors in a stunning white tent with an elegant palette of whites and ivories, and just a touch of colour in the napkins.
Each white chivari chair was tied in an ivory bow with 1 rose placed in the center. It made for that extra special touch.
The base of our centerpieces were filled with white beach glass for that Westcoast flare the bride was looking for.
We created floral tablescapes along the buffet tables, the wine tables and the entrance tables using our vintage crystal collection.
