platinumfloraldesigns: Unique Balloon 'Up' Inspired Wedding

If this image has any indication as to how this blog post is going to go, you've probably guessed it right. This uber fun, creative, 'Up' themed wedding was nothing short of unique, creative and truly one of a kind. If you've watched the Disney movie UP, you'll know exactly what this theme is all about! We worked with Emma McCormick Event Planning & Production who took this wedding from concept all the way to finalized details, and whooooo what a blast to be apart of this one. Laurel Point Inn provided a light, airy and incredible venue space to host this crafty wedding and Tegan McMartin Photography captured the day in such an incredible way.

We created a simple floral hair clip for this stunning bride using soft peach tea roses and a touch of dusty miller. AND THAT GOWN purchased at Shades of White (swoon)! Just simply perfection. I love how the grooms attire also matched the colours in the wedding. Great job guys!

We love the custom backdrop Emma created with her savvy wedding team. Balloons and greens, but of course!

This darling bride wanted a classic rounded bridal bouquet in colours I hadn't worked with for quite some time. Coral and peaches mixed amongst white dahlias, lisianthus, spray roses and scabiosa. We used dusty miller locally grown from the cutting garden to add just another layer of texture.

OK, I don't know about you, but this Momma had some serious style. The colours in her gown, incredible, paired with out satin ribbon corsage, win win!

The reception continued the Up balloon theme and Emma created centrepieces in an unusual way. Using oversized balloons and simple stems of italian ruscus, strung together with DIY paper garlands made for majestic, budget friendly centerpieces without loosing the WOW factor.

A minimalistic wedding cake made a BIG statement with the use of 1 single peach rose. Perfection!

Reception details! YAS, we love a wedding when NO detail is missed. Truly, it all comes together when ALL the elements are in place. Love the white charger plates and macaroons, the rose gold cutlery, the vintage suitcase, globe and the wicked around the world seating chart! Totally nailed!
