A Country Wedding Featured at A Northwoods Wedding Blog. Bird's Eye Cove Farm, Duncan, BC

I am so so thrilled to finally share this wedding with you which has now been featured on A Northwoods Wedding Blog.  I had the pleasure of working with one of the most sweetest couples and a handful of amazing wedding vendors to boot!  Bird's Eye Cove Farm is seriously one of my absolute favourite wedding venues to work with.  It captures my heart in SO many ways, I simply cannot get enough.  It speaks directly to my farm soul (born and raised prairie girl, just to remind you).  The family team never ceases to amaze me.  Hard working, honest and reliable, this venue is situated on one of Vancouver Island's slices of heaven if you ask me.  Rolling hills, spacious fields and always a breath of fresh air.  I tell you, if I ever tie the knot myself, you'll find me here too!

The amazing Tam of Blue Lily Event Planning introduced me to the most humble and kindest couple during a double consultation with Trend Decor.  The room was filled with ideas, laughs and love.  We all worked closely to fill the couples requests.  Sourcing places for unique ideas and came up with a look uniquely suited for the couple.  Wildflowers, Havana cigar boxes, vibrant yellows paired with pastel hues, vintage trailing laces, wild grasses and moss all came together to create depth, texture and layers.  Without further ado, let's get into some beautiful images from their day outrageously captured by the very talented Wren and Rook Photography.

This bouquet is hands down the most "wild" I've ever been privileged to create and it was simply devine.  If anyone knows me, you'll know I am a texture lover.  The more the merrier.  Her bouquet was filled with unique wild grasses such as millet, fountain grass, bunny tail grasses, queens annes lace, nigella, thistles, lisianthks, cafe au last dahlia, garden roses, bruin, stock blooms, dahlia and sedum.  People often ask me what I would create for my very own wedding, and I bet it would be something similar to this!

I can never get enough of Bird's Eye Cove Farms opportunities to pose and capture photo's with their sweet animals.

I do love a sweet boutonniere.  This one made from thistle, craspedia, silver bruin and bunny tail grasses and wrapped up in vintage lace.  Yes please!

Looking through these images again, makes me tear up.  Literally I cannot express how wonderful these two love birds are.  I can ONLY wish them love and laughter and happily ever after for the rest of their lives.
