A Gorgeous Bear Mountain Wedding, Victoria BC

Friday, 19 February 2016

I won't soon forget this stunning wedding!  It took place on one of the hottest summer days in August at the Bear Mountain Resort and took place on a weekend we had 4 weddings booked (needless to say, my crew had to be locked and loaded).  The sun was beaming, everyone was bustling, or should I say sweating!  Regardless of the hot rays,  the day was incredible, pastel hues cascaded everywhere and absolutely everyone had fun!  Wedding professionals really rocked this wedding and made it quite amazing including Luke Liable Photography who without a doubt had extreme lighting conditions to work with but still was able to produce some amazing photos.

The beautiful brides bouquet consisted of trailing ribbons in coordinating colours, silver dollar eucalyptus and olive leaves were uesd to create a lush hand tied bouquet.  Juliet garden roses, spray roses, hypericum berries, lisianthus and blushing bride protea took the main stage to create such lovely bouquets.

I do love well dressed men and these guys were absolutely handsome!

The ceremony took place outside in the beautiful gardens at Bear Mountain Resort. Fresh eucalyptus garlands hung throughout the ceremony.

Lanterns provided by Trend Decor lined the aisle way. Rose petals and green accents were used to add just a touch more romance.

Chandeliers hung and flowers cascaded!

Inside the reception, details continued to turn the room into such a romantic space for celebration.

The large head table whispered romanic under candle light, flowers and lanterns.

The guest tables consisted of two different designs.  Some tables had low "wreath" flowers with a lantern placed in the middle and some used our custom made gold flower stands raising the flowers up high for visual texture throughout the room. Custom made table numbers by Studio 745, gold accents such as charger plates and mercury candle holders were provided by Trend Decor and really completed the tables.

My favorite part about this wedding would have to be the "message in a bottle" idea, in which your guests provide "love notes" or engaging messages for the couple to read on their 5th, 10th and 15th year anniversary.  How cute is that!

At the end of the day, I truly must say, it was an incredible honour to work with this couple.  Not for a moment doubting our design and allowing us to have creative freedom!  It was absolutely amazing!  And I wish these two love birds amazing years to come!
